Bagworms hatch when it gets warm, however, they do not hatch all at the same time.
By spraying Spinosad on affected trees and bushes around mid-to lateJune, most of the bagworms will have hatched and will still be small enough to be affected by the insecticide.
Spraying too early will lead to missing treatment on late hatching bagworms. Spraying too late will be ineffective because the bagworm will be done chewing on the plant.

She shared what she's learned from participating in 4-H and all the program offers. She also invited the Commissioners to the Sedgwick County Fair next month.
