Diagnosed with HIV at birth and not expected to live past childhood, Hydeia turned her pain into purpose. From Oprah to BET, she stood in front of the world as a young girl and educated millions on HIV/AIDS when so many were too afraid to speak. 💔🧬

She sadly passed away on February 20th 2024 , but her impact will never die.
