Food week! A chef is the master of the kitchen! Today's lesson is all about eating a variety of foods from the 5 food groups! Lunch is being served in ice cube trays to make it fun and promote variety! This led to so much open ended, child-led, conversations about food!! 😋

Food week! This week is all about food! We are learning the five food groups, distinguishing between healthy and "sometimes" foods, and putting an emphasis on exercise! Today we had an ice cream cone race, earned a "sometimes food" ice cream treat, and made number ice cream cones! I am sending home a handout with fun ways to get your family moving!
