Deaf Kansans struggle getting legal help. The state is trying to change that The Communication Access Fund has $10,000 to help hire interpreters and other communication services to help the deaf and hard of hearing speak with their lawyers. But not many attorneys know about the fund.

'ADA HELP-ME HOW' is a six part series presented by Christopher Tester, CDI from New York City. Chris explains the ADA and how to file a complaint if you feel you have been discriminated against.
This program is presented in American Sign Language with the option of open captions.
Each part in this series is 1-hour long.

2. ADA & Employment (Title I)
3. Employment & Reasonable Accommodation
4. ADA: Title II & Title III
5. I've been discriminated against, now what?
6. ADA: Your Rights to a Deaf Interpreter
This webcast is six hours long and worth 0.6 CEUs. CEUs are general studies and are approved by RID. Once you watch the video and submit your evaluation form, we will forward your CEUs to RID, if needed, and email you a certificate of completion.
