On another note, I am aware of the post by the Kansas AG’s office concerning suppressors. I again spent 2 hours on the phone with their office as well as the local ATF agent and the Midwest field office. The answers from the AG’s office are concerning. Again, the suggest consulting our own attorney as the AG’s office will not defend our business or the people. They only defend state entities. This is concerning when putting out information regarding Federal laws. The local ATF agent is unsure why KS AG’s office would put out this information without at least consulting the US AG’s office. The only explanation I could fathom is it is an election year. I continue to consult my attorney with everything on a daily basis as this is an exciting yet murky territory. We are a short 5 weeks away from the appeal deadline but would rather have a solid answer ASAP. I will continue to update you all as I can. In the meantime, form 4’s are still being processed at a very quick rate!

Update from our local ATF Agent:

“We are waiting for the DOJ to respond on how to proceed and figure out how it could be challenged in court. If you are not PERSONALLY named in the lawsuit, YOU ARE NOT COVERED! Citizens of said states is not enough. Customers of said entities is not enough. Cease and desist letters will likely be pushed out ASAP and you will likely be forced to surrender your 4473 obtained suppressors.”

I asked if he thought it would pass or be appealed- He did believe it would pass especially with Eric Trump leading the way but there is a 60 day window for appeal. Less now but still 2 ish months.

I will be business as usual until we hear a clear cut way of proceeding from the ATF and DOJ. On a lighter note, we had someone pass a form 4 in 22 hours today!

From our local ATF Agent:

“The only comment we’ve gotten is far is ATF can’t comment on pending litigation. Beyond that we’ve received nothing else. From what I’ve read personally, ATFor DOJ has 60 days to respond, so I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled to see if either respond or don’t.”

I am as excited as all of you on the changes to the NFA and our God given rights! I am waiting for clarification before I start selling those certain NFA items over the counter with 4473’s. I am taking the precautions to keep myself and all of you off the Fed Boi’s naughty list. I will keep everyone informed when this clarification happens. I understand the frustration and this is still a huge win for the American people but with some very murky water. I spent yesterday on the phone with the alphabet agencies but no one was able to give guidance just yet. Almost like everyone expected an appeal! Stay tuned!
