Life has kept me quite busy lately, pulling me away from social media. However, I want to start posting again, hopefully more frequently than before.

On Thursday night, I decided to make a Lebanese dish that has been a staple in my family for decades: Fatayer, which is a Lebanese meat pie.

I also prepared a friend's recipe for cheesy potatoes. Here are some pictures!

Tonight, we went to the restaurant "Kim's Noodles Bar & Grill" Located at 10919 E Harry St #101, Wichita, KS 67207.

It has become one of my top favorite Vietnamese places. The owner is so sweet and makes her customers feel welcomed and cared for.
The restaurant is always so clean! Something I always look at is the cleanliness of the places I eat at, and I've never been concerned about this restaurant.

My review of the food:

My husband had the number 50. Grilled Pork, Shredded Pork, Fried Egg, Roasted Pork, Shrimp Paste, and tofu skin with Rice. It's come with a little bowl of pho broth-like soup.

I had an order of Crab Rangoon and an order of Shrimp Tempura.
Crab Rangoon: Great flavor, crispy, fresh, and perfect!
Shrimp Tempura: Such great flavor and Kim's is honestly my favorite place for this tasty treat! The sauce that comes with it has a nice kick to it.

We will always come back to Kim's Noodles

We decided to eat at "Master Wok" on Saturday night. The restaurant is located at 7700 E Kellogg Dr, Apt 313, Wichita, KS, in the food court of Towne East Mall.

We ordered the value meal, which includes two entrées and a choice of fried rice or lo mein, for just over $10. We chose General Tso Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, and Lo Mein.

The food was hot and fresh. In my opinion, they serve some of the best General Tso Chicken around!

If you're browsing Towne East Mall and feeling hungry, you should definitely stop by and try something new!
They are fast-paced, well-priced, and very friendly!

We wanted to try something new, so we visited "Pho Cuong," located at 6605 E 37th St N Ste 100, Wichita, KS.

Here is my review:

We started with Crab Rangoon, which is a dish I always order at Asian restaurants. The Crab Rangoon had a good garlic flavor and I found it quite tasty.

I ordered the B29, which is "Bun Tom Thit Nuong" (vermicelli with charbroiled shrimp, sliced pork, egg roll, and fish sauce). Unfortunately, I found it to be very bland. I was hoping for more flavor, but it just didn’t meet my expectations.

My husband had the BK35, which is "Banh Mi Bo Kho" (Vietnamese beef stew). He was overall satisfied with his dish, and I agreed that it had a lot of flavor when I tasted it.

Despite my dish not being as flavorful as I hoped, we had a good experience overall. We will definitely return, and I plan to try something new next time!

If you're craving Mexican food, a great place to try is El Gordo Mexican Restaurant, located at 11333 E Central Ave, Wichita, KS 67206. In our opinion, the food is fantastic!

Here’s my review:

I ordered the Carne Asada Tacos on the left, which are always one of my favorite choices—consistently delicious! On the right, my husband chose the Fish Tacos. He felt there was too much lettuce added, which overpowered the dish and made it his least favorite.

There are so many options to choose from at this establishment. If you want to try something new, you should definitely give this place a shot! We will always come back!

This past Friday, I had the opportunity to visit Chiang Mai Thai Restaurant in Wichita, located at 3141 S Hillside St, Wichita, KS.

I decided to order my favorite dish: Thai BBQ Pork served with sticky rice and Thai sweet and sour sauce.

This restaurant is one of my go-to spots for Thai cuisine. It’s usually a quiet place to enjoy a meal in the afternoon, shortly after the lunch rush. If you're in the mood for some delicious Thai food, I highly recommend checking out this gem!
