Congrats to our fierce trio: Sammi, Amayiah, and Micah for starting off the Wildfire Season in Saint Louis at the Gateway Games with Move United Sport. Sammi qualified for Nationals in all of her throwing events and had the opportunity to work with Paralympian Cheri Madison. Amayiah won a few of her events, meet some new friends, and gained the confidence to bump up to a racing chair before our next meet, and Micah had an opportunity to compete against some of his future competitors who will be at Nationals.
Although, I never aim for personal bears in the first meet of the season, both girls threw farther than last season.
If you live in the Wichita area, we would love for you to come to Panther Stadium in Derby, KS on Saturday June 6/6/2026, to watch our entire team compete. We are a very young team, and they would love to have you cheer them on!!!
