From the classroom to competitions across the country, our scholar Hanna Bailey has been hard at work as a member of the K-State Meats Judging Team. π₯©π
After taking the meats judging course last fall, Hanna joined the team and has since spent countless hours practicing and competing in large scale packing plants across the United States. Through competitions, the team evaluates beef, swine, wholesale cuts, quality, and yield grades.
Beyond the competitions, Hanna says her favorite part has been the people she has met and the friendships she has built along the way. β¨π
