A Moment of Zen - February 18th, 2025 Blizzard.

When there's Lightning . . .

Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS heading away from the sun and getting ready to fade away. Taken about 8pm on Monday, October 14th. If visible it will be a little higher in the sky due west. Wait until dark. You will need binoculars or a telescope to see it now as it was barely visible when I shot this.

Taken about 300 feet above Valley Center. Radio towers in the distance are Colwich.

Aurora from a couple weeks ago seen through the magic of the phone. The sky did blush and I think I saw the "Steve".

The fog in Valley is cool tonight. Pea soup at lower levels, but when you climb out, it ribbons to the point that we were driving just under it.
