Is volunteering at the school farm this week something you'd be interested in? We need volunteers from 8 am - 10 am on Tuesday and Thursday. Our focus will be on weeding the garden, cleaning the chicken coop, and tackling pending chores. This opportunity is available to everyone, whether for volunteer hours or simply to help out.

We were invited by Chase County FFA to visit the Flint Hills to learn about the Tallgrass Prairie and the journey of cattle production from prairie to grill.

Students had the opportunity to visit the National Tallgrass Prairie Preserve, tour a working Red Angus ranch, learn how goats are used to naturally manage weeds, and even gain some hands-on experience working with cattle.

Because we are in such an urban setting, it can be difficult for our students to experience these agricultural processes firsthand. This was truly a unique and unforgettable learning experience. We were also welcomed with incredible hospitality, great food, and genuine kindness throughout the trip.

Join us live at 2 p.m. for the stream of the K-State College of Agriculture Career Development Event Award Ceremony. 16 Kansas FFA teams will be announced as state champions amogst over 14,000 members and 240 chapters!

We will be at Southeast High School until 8:00 p.m. tonight and tomorrow night. We have tons of planters available. Come see us!

The plants have arrived! Pick them up at Door #31 until 3:00 or in the cafeteria (Door #1) after 4:00 p.m. We have extras available.

Today Wichita Southeast FFA and STUCO are joining forces at Town East Mall to help with the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Please stop by and pick out an angel from our community and help make their Christmas spectacular! We will be on the first floor near JC Penny until 7:00 p.m..
