Exciting things were happening at Wichita Northwest High School. Students presented their food truck concepts, designs, menus, marketing tactics, and food samplings. What a great project!

Exciting things were taking place at Wichita Northwest High School! Students shared thier food truck concepts, designs, menus, marketing tactics and samples of thier food. What a great project!

Thanks to Les Padzensky, Director of Butler Community College Redler Institute of Culinary Arts for taking the Butler's Grizzly Grub food truck to Wichita Northwest High School to help ProStart students learn how to design, operate, and maintain a food truck. Students appreciated seeing how small the space is and how efficiently the owner utilizes the inside space. Les also educated students on the different appliances.

ProStart high school students got to visit the Redler Institute of Culinary Arts, where they learned about the programs that are offered, toured the school, and were fed a delicious lunch. What a fabulous experience for these students!

Envision Bistro at NICHE for lunch today was phenomenal! If you haven’t stopped in yet, it’s a must.

Broadmoor Bistro created delicious desserts and volunteered their time at the Johnson County Mental Health fundraiser last Thursday. They made classic chocolate chip cookies, strawberry shortcake with whipped cream, brownie trifle with salted caramel sauce, and a lemon roulade. Way to showcase ProStart and help out such a worthy cause!
