Sexual violence affects people of every gender identity and sexual orientation. LGBTQ+ survivors deserve services that affirm who they are, honor their experiences, and meet them with dignity and respect.
This Pride Month, we affirm that LGBTQ+ survivors deserve safe, inclusive, and compassionate support. We stand with the LGBTQ+ community today and every day.
All survivors deserve to be believed. All survivors deserve support. 🏳️🌈

Many people have heard of WASAC, but aren't quite sure what we do.
The Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center provides free, confidential support to anyone impacted by sexual violence throughout Sedgwick, Sumner, and Cowley Counties.
From answering a hotline call in the middle of the night, to providing advocacy at the hospital or courthouse, to offering therapy and support groups, our team is here to walk alongside survivors wherever they are in their healing journey.
Whether someone reaches out one hour after an assault or twenty years later, they deserve support, options, and a safe place to turn.
What service surprised you most? Let us know in the comments.

June is a time when many of us make summer plans and spend more time with the people we love. But for survivors of sexual violence, the need for support never takes a season off. That’s where you come in!
Because of monthly donors, survivors in our community have someone to call at any hour, an advocate to stand beside them, and a path toward healing—every single month of the year.
This summer, you can be the reason a survivor is heard, believed, and supported.
Make a lasting impact with a gift that gives every month 💚🥒
Join the Wichita Area Sexual Assault Center’s monthly donor community and become a BIG DILL.
