Wichita Knitters' Guild

We had a fantastic May meeting of WKG with presentations from KS My Stitch crochet guild as well as the Wichita Weavers, Spinners, and Dyers Guild! We are so fortunate to have many opportunities to express our creativity with like minded individuals in our area. And our knitters have been BUSY! Soooo many beautiful WIPs and FOs this meeting! Come join us tomorrow 5 to 6 open knit and book study, 6 to 8 program at the downtown YMCA. We expect some special visitors! Our April WKG meeting did not disappoint! WKG President Christince shared her expertise on how to adjust our knitting for a better fit, absolutely awesome. Thank you, Christince! And, as always, our knitters have been BUSY! Bundle soon to come.

Ever knit a garment that just doesn't fit? Have a yarn you want to use, but it's not what the pattern recommends? Our very own Christince will discuss ways to adjust to get the best fit! If you are able, please prepare a 4x4 inch swatch knit flat with a DK yarn on size 6 (4mm) needles. Also the fiction book club will meet during open knit time 5 to 6pm, followed by our regular meeting 6-8pm at the downtown YMCA. Hope to see you there!

The March WKG meeting was fabulous as always with an excellent program about reading your knitting from our very own Corinne. And our knitters have been BUSY as usual! So many pretties! Our next meeting will be Wednesday April 15.
