As the academic year comes to a close, we’re celebrating one full year of students experiencing the McPherson College WISE Campus Commons — a transformational space designed to foster collaboration, connection, and campus community.

We were proud to partner with McPherson College to furnish this incredible project, helping bring the vision to life through thoughtfully curated solutions from HON, KI, Venue Industries, SitOnIt Seating, Tablex, and more. From vibrant student gathering spaces and conference rooms to lounges, dining areas, and collaborative environments, every detail was selected to support the evolving needs of higher education.

This was an amazing project for our team to be part of, and it continues to be exciting seeing how students and staff have embraced the space throughout its first year.

We’re grateful to McPherson College, Beck Design, and all project partners who helped make this environment such a success.

As we head into summer, our team is preparing for several exciting new K-12 and Higher Education installations currently in the works — and we can’t wait to share what’s next. Stay tuned.

🍎✨ This Teacher Appreciation Week, we’re celebrating the incredible educators who shape the future every single day — and we’re honored to support that mission in a meaningful way. ✨🍎

Scott Rice Office Interiors partnered with Miss Jones at Anderson Elementary, a low-income school within USD 259 Wichita Public Schools, to design and gift a brand-new 2nd Grade Pilot Classroom created specifically with student success in mind. 💛

Working closely alongside the classroom teacher Miss Jones, we developed a flexible, student-centered environment featuring furnishings from The HON Company that not only elevate the look and feel of the space, but also support engagement, collaboration, focus, and everyday learning outcomes.

The classroom includes:
📚 BUILD desks with color edgebands that make student grouping simple and intuitive
☀️ Bright yellow SmartLink student chairs chosen to bring energy, warmth, and positivity into the learning environment
🤝 Dedicated spaces for collaborative learning, quiet focus work, and teacher-led instruction
🧺 Abundant classroom storage solutions to help keep the space organized and functional
🛋️ Soft seating and flexible furnishings that create comfort while encouraging creativity and connection

Every detail was intentionally selected to help students feel inspired, supported, and ready to learn.

📚 Project Reveal: Park City Community Library 🌈

We’re excited to share the newly refreshed Park City Community Library in Park City, Kansas! ✨

The library recently upgraded all of its shelving to the Crossroads Collection by KI, creating a more functional, inviting, and flexible space for readers of all ages.

From the vibrant children’s area to the neatly organized stacks, these new shelves help the library showcase its collection beautifully while improving accessibility and flow.

A big thank you to the Park City Community Library team for partnering with us on this colorful and community-centered transformation!
