🚨 HAIL THREAT – THURSDAY, APRIL 23RD 🚨

A significant severe weather setup is expected to develop across parts of Oklahoma, Kansas, and into Nebraska tomorrow, with a major hail threat developing during the afternoon and evening hours.

⏰ TIMELINE:
• Late Morning – Early Afternoon: Storms begin to develop
• Afternoon (2–6 PM): Storms intensify rapidly
• Evening (6–10 PM): Peak severe threat
• Late Evening: Storms move east and begin weakening

⚠️ MAIN THREATS:
• 🟣 Large Hail (PRIMARY THREAT) – Hail 2”+ possible, isolated larger
• 💨 Damaging Winds – Gusts up to 60–75+ mph
• 🌪️ Isolated Tornado – Low-end risk, but not zero

📍 AREAS TO WATCH:
Oklahoma City • Tulsa • Wichita • Salina • Kansas City • Omaha

This setup strongly favors supercell thunderstorms, especially along and just west of the I-35 corridor, where conditions will be most favorable for very large hail producers.

⚠️ BOTTOM LINE:
Some storms could become intense quickly, producing damaging hail and strong winds. Stay weather aware if you’re in the highlighted region.

The west side experienced some smaller hail, although there were instances of larger hail mixed in. We are always available to assist you in making a decision regarding whether or not to pursue a claim. Please feel free to visit us and we will assess the situation for you.
