They don't look like much yet, but the giant, joyful sunflowers God sent us by the south doors a couple summers ago are making their appearance again! They'll likely be taller than you by VBS time. 🥰

Bishop Wilson has invited the 30,000 UMC congregations that make up the Great Plains Conference of Kansas & Nebraska to join "Miracle Sunday," a 6-week fundraising push to support the next generation of United Methodist pastors. Bethany--and other churches of our approximate size--have been asked to contribute $200 to this effort. If you'd like to help, please mark your giving "Miracle Sunday" and we will get it sent in; alternatively, you can scan the QR code in the video to give directly.

It was a muddy morning in Butterfly Club! That worked out though, because it made it easier to get our new butterfly bushes from Mr. Ron planted. We also checked on our itty-bitty Monarch hatchlings and did some cleanup from last year's growth and last night's storm. Have a great week, everyone!

Our Helping Hands Food Pantry will serve next Monday, April 27, at 1 p.m. around the north side of the building at door #5.

A little rain delay in Butterfly Club this morning, but still a successful release of about 25 Painted Lady butterflies! Our kiddos couldn't believe how many of God's newest little worker friends were ready to go. Thanks to Sarah for handling it today, and for all the great pictures.

Mark your calendar for Sedgwick County Government's FREE e-waste collection event, coming up the last couple of weekends in April! It's a great chance to declutter your life with a safe place to toss those old, broken electronics. They even take pagers, if you know anyone who still has one! 😜

All-Church Cleanup is this Saturday from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Jobs of all sizes available, come spend time with your church family and spiffy up the building a little bit!
