For many foster care youth, frequent moves between homes and schools make forming meaningful relationships difficult.
Children 1st, a Wichita-area social service nonprofit, was inspired to change that. Funded in part by a Kansas Health Foundation Innovation Grant, they piloted a one-week summer camp to create a space where foster youth could build meaningful relationships.
