Last night north of Herington, Kansas. We saw a brief dust whirl under this huge, rotating beast of a storm.
The sirens sounded in Herington after we retreated south but we missed the ground circulation others saw at 8:17 p.m. (the time that the sirens went off in the opening).

It still appears like an active afternoon and evening for parts of central and eastern Kansas, with a solid Level 4 (red) threat. Please be sure to have multiple ways to receive weather warnings.
