Gift cards are starting to come in for graduates. Thank you for supporting MV students! 🎓

This graduation season, we're asking our amazing community to support our graduating seniors experiencing homelessness by donating $25 gift cards. We currently have 70 graduates - and counting!

How to help:
-Donate a $25 gift card (Walmart, Target or fast food restaurant)
-Mail or drop off monetary donations to WPS McKinney-Vento 903 S. Edgemoor Wichita, KS 67218

A small gesture can make a huge impact and remind these graduates that their community is cheering them on. Thank you for helping our graduates start their next chapter with dignity and hope!

All activities for Saturday and Sunday have been cancelled due to the anticipated weather conditions. Athletic activities scheduled for Friday evening will continue as scheduled.

No decision has been made about the status of school on Monday. We will monitor the weather throughout the weekend and make a decision based on conditions.

❄️❄️ No determination has been made for tomorrow, but if you've wondered what factors into the decision to cancel school due to winter weather, there are several variables that are considered. Our goal is to make the decision no later than 5 a.m., however conditions may warrant making the decision the night before.

We have received questions regarding immigration enforcement at school buildings. At Wichita Public Schools, our focus and priority is to provide safe educational opportunities for all students.
