Join us for our monthly Child Start x Kansas Children’s Service League Play Group this Wednesday!

Held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from 9:30–10:30 a.m. at 1365 N. Custer in Wichita, this interactive play group gives families the opportunity to learn, play, and grow together.

Parents and caregivers don't just watch their children play—they learn practical strategies and techniques they can use every day to support their child's development. Through guided activities, children build important skills in cognitive development, social-emotional learning, gross motor development, and early literacy.

Nos reunimos el tercer miércoles de cada mes de 9:30 a.m. a 10:30 a.m. en 1365 N. Custer, Wichita. Este grupo de juego interactivo brinda a las familias la oportunidad de aprender, jugar y crecer juntas.

Los padres y cuidadores no solo observan a sus hijos jugar, sino que también aprenden estrategias prácticas que pueden utilizar todos los días para apoyar el desarrollo de sus niños. A través de actividades guiadas, los niños fortalecen habilidades importantes en el desarrollo cognitivo, socioemocional, motriz grueso y de lectoescritura temprana.

Designed for families, caregivers, educators, and anyone supporting young children, this resource offers practical tools and guidance to help children prepare for a successful transition to kindergarten. Topics include social-emotional development, early literacy, health and wellness, independence, and more.

We encourage you to explore, use, and share this resource as we work together to help every child feel confident, supported, and ready for school.
