Yesterday was such a beautiful thing, but it almost didn't happen.. it started out with all but one of my camera batteries were dead, we had no piano, and no models. Once we got a piano, we couldn't get transportation... but the kind family who was giving the piano away decided to help us move it from point a to point b, we found models and even had extra hands take time out of their evening to help move it.

It was a long, stressful day but it ended up being the most beautiful evening! The photographers, the models, the location... it was all so beautiful!

I thought this was a good time to educate on what exactly goes into a session from a photographer.. it's truly not just "clicking a button". It's days and days of planning, prepping and executing to make sure the vision comes to life! It's hours the day of getting everything around and setting up whatever it is we need to before the client shows up! It's taking everything down and putting everything up after the session is over. It's hours and hours of culling, editing and building galleries! It's hours building social media posts, blog posts, making website updates!

The photographer who puts the most time in their business is the photographer who truly cares the most about her clients! You might only be paying for "one hour" but the truth is, I work hours upon hours for free to give you the best experience possible, because I absolutely LOVE what I do and want to do it for you! 🫶
