After several iterations and prototypes the final version of the KONK 1 concrete speaker is complete. Will post updates following the build of the next speaker which will ultimately be listed for sale.

The KONK1 speaker works great as a stand alone speaker, center channel, or a left/right stereo setup. As a center channel it can be placed horizontally and for the stereo setup a customs of stands will be available.

Don't really enjoy writing and im definitely not very good at it, but we have learned a lot this past year and figured it would be a waste not to document it. Written from the perspective of a beginner making beginner mistakes. Hopefully more of these to come.
ITS NOT THE PROBE ITS ME… It’s been about eight months since we got the Tormach 440 and overall things have been great! We run the machine almost everyday and have had little to no problems. Okay that’s not true…

Wrapped up some Christmas gifts this weekend. xyz touch probe made on the Tormach 440 and a kitchen knife made on the Nomad3.
Needed these bushings to be as precise as possible. We machined them net on the tormach 440 then warmed the plate to 350 and froze the bushings. May have been a bit excessive, but after inspection they are located within .002” relative to each other. Can’t ask for more than that!

Posted a video of engraving the powder coated parts last week and here is the final product. Very happy with the results! I did order a engraving bit like a few of you recommended but the chamfer bit still have super good results here. Excited to see how well they sell!
Powder coated parts loaded back on the vacuum fixture for some final engraving. Looks super sharp! Photos of the final result coming soon.
First time using the vacuum fixture. Allows us to eliminate clamps and use the SuperFly cutter to get that amazing mirror finish. Next we will powder coat then mount back on the vacuum fixture to do a final engraving.
