Sitting here at Avivo Brick Oven Pizzeria in New Merket Square, and I just had an interesting talk with the guy up front. It’s Mother’s Day and this place should be packed, but the only family that was here right before us up and left because they don’t sell alcohol. Avivo has lost quite a bit of business because they haven’t made that leap yet…who decides to skip amazing pizza like this because they can’t have a 🍺 with it and ruin the taste of the food? I’m all for having a drink with dinner but dang, this is kind of extreme.

Now it’s time to sit back and listen to the drama of the fall bowling league payout starting at 7:30 while the summer league stats at 6:30. Greg already stormed out and Linda is fuming, but Steve and Margie are having a good time at the end of the bar like me 😂
