WBNA Member, Tonika Bruce received a FIGS Nursing Grant, in the amount of 15K, from the National Black Nurses Association, towards her continued pursuit of her Doctorate in Nursing. Bruce attended the National Convention virtually, and received the award, recognizing the Wichita Black Nurses Association, lead by President Linda Wright. This was the first grant of its nature, awarded to a WBNA member, and we look forward to our next awardees. Congrats Tonika!
