I promise I’m still here…
This summer I chose to place my “here” with my girls. It has been so sweet (and difficult at times) to have them home all day every day. Being a mom is a commitment like no other; I hardly ever feel like I am doing enough for them, but I choose in my heart to believe otherwise. The all encompassing task of motherhood can be overwhelming, but the love, memories and bond I have with my babies trumps all the hardships.
As my girls head back to school, more of my time will be spent in the kitchen doing something else I also love - making people happy by providing them with cookies. Here’s a sneak peek to the new recipe…
