We had such a fun time today at the annual Walk of Stars put on by the Down Syndrome Society of Wichita. What a great way to connect with other local clinics, our patients, and support a great cause!!!

We don't take graduations lightly here at Sweet Talk, and that's for good reason... Ethan has shown up every 👏 single 👏 week 👏 for nearly two years, worked incredibly hard, given miss Kylie lots of laughs, and made unbelievable progress! It is such an honor to work with families like Ethan's who have been so dedicated to his success... We are humbled by the trust that families put in us and it makes us all the more motivated to do our job well. Ethan is proof that with everyone working together we can accomplish amazing things! We will miss you, Ethan, and wish you all the best!!

We couldn't possible be more excited to welcome miss Madison to the team as our new receptionist/referral coordinator/social media manager/party planner/patient question answerer/coffee bar re-filler/so much more!!! Sweet Talk has LONG been overdue for someone to fill this important role and miss Kylie is so excited to hand over a handful of the hats she's been wearing the last few years ;). My name is Madison Ellis, and I am so excited to be the new receptionist here at Sweet Talk! I can’t wait to welcome you with a smile and get to know each of you and your amazing children — it’s truly an honor to be part of this incredible team!

Here’s a little about me: I’m the oldest of six siblings, so being around kids has always been second nature to me. My husband and I just celebrated four wonderful years of marriage, and we recently welcomed our first baby this past October — becoming a mom has been the greatest adventure yet!

When I’m not at the front desk, you can find me with an audiobook in my ears, a camera in hand, or planning our next family trip! I also love soaking up time with my loved ones — family and friends are everything to me.

I’m so excited to meet you all and be a part of your Sweet Talk experience!

"Hi, my name is Delaney Shandy and I am so excited to be working at Sweet Talk! I received my Masters in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Wichita State University in 2023 and am going on my 3rd year as an elementary school Speech-Language Pathologist. My passions within the field include articulation/phonology, early language development, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC), but I love working with all children! My goal as an SLP is to be an advocate for diversity and inclusion, and support every child in finding their voice, no matter what modality they may use. My husband and I got married last November and we have 2 dogs, a husky named Kenai and an Alaskan malamute named Kodiak. In my spare time, you'll find me at home with a good book, but I also love to travel, hike, and cook/bake."

The ACE award is given by the American Speech-Language Hearing association and recognizes SLPs who have completed twice the amount of required continuing education in any certification period...that's 70 hours of additional education to help us better serve our patients' needs!!! 💪🧠🧐
