Weekday Morning Anchor for 12 News

05/20/2026

Gratitude. šŸ¤

That’s honestly the only word I can think of right now.

Since announcing I’m leaving KWCH 12 News, my phone has absolutely blown up with kind messages, texts, calls, and comments. If I haven’t responded yet, I’m so sorry. I promise I will. Please know how much every message has meant to me.

This video was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do on air, but I’m so thankful for the love and support through it all.

And while this chapter is ending… I’m SO excited to share what’s next. šŸ‘€ Make sure to follow this page so you don’t miss the announcement. šŸ¤

A bittersweet life update: After a lot of thought, prayer, and reflection, I’ve made the decision that my last day at KWCH will be June 2nd.

This truly wasn’t an easy decision because Kansas, and especially the agriculture community, has shaped so much of who I am. Over the last almost 6 years, I’ve had the privilege of telling stories that truly mattered.

I’m incredibly proud to have created Kansas’ #1 local ag show and to have produced and anchored more than 250 episodes over the past 5 years. I’m so proud of so many things I accomplished during my time at KWCH 12, including helping raise nearly $2 million for ag wildfire relief efforts and more than $100,000 for Kansas FFA.

The stories that mattered most to me were often the ones that could’ve easily been moved on from or forgotten after the headlines faded. That’s why it was always important to me to use storytelling as a way to truly support and make a difference in the ag community and the people behind it. That’s what I stand behind, and ultimately, what matters most to me.

I’m genuinely excited for what’s ahead and to see where life, storytelling, and the ag industry takes me next. I still have a huge passion for creating meaningful content, telling stories that matter, and building relationships in this space and I have a feeling this is only the beginning of what’s to come!

And yes… I definitely won’t miss those 2 a.m. alarm clocks. šŸ˜‚

To everyone who has watched, supported, answered my countless interview requests, trusted me with your stories, or simply encouraged me along the way… thank you. Truly. Your kindness and support have meant more than I’ll ever be able to put into words, and I’ll always be grateful for you. This not a goodbye, but rather a see you later.šŸ¤
