Nearly 200 pounds lost. One dream gained!
Sheppard’s own A1C Ethan Cobb’s journey to the Air Force wasn’t easy — but it was worth every step. When he decided he wanted to serve, he committed himself fully, transforming his life through discipline, resilience, and an unshakeable sense of purpose.
Today, he’s not just wearing the uniform, he’s thriving as a Heavy Aircraft Integrated Avionics specialist, proving that determination can reshape a future.
Stories like his remind us what it means to be an Airman: grit, character, and the courage to chase something bigger than yourself.
Team Sheppard is proud of you A1C Cobb - best of luck as you graduate and head off to your first duty assignment!
Man loses 200 pounds to enlist in the Air Force Airman 1st Class Ethan Cobb graduates from technical training on Tuesday. He lost 200 pounds to enlist and 20 more pounds during training.
Camaraderie, competition, and a little time to recharge 💪
Permanent party members at Sheppard AFB took a break from training the next generation of Airmen to enjoy a day of sports, teamwork, and fun. From friendly competition to plenty of laughs on the sidelines, it was a great reminder that strong teams are built both in and out of the workplace.
Days like this keep us connected, motivated, and mission ready! 🏅
