I am issuing a Burn Ban effective during any Red Flag Warning issued by the National Weather Service, for no more than 7 days from 7:30 am, 3/27/2026

In effect 9AM-9PM tomorrow, Thursday 03/26/2026!

Fire weather watch in affect until 10PM Thursday! Please use caution while outdoors!

Elevated to near critical fire weather conditions are expected on Thursday (ahead of a cold front) and Friday (behind a cold front). Both days are expected to be dry and windy.

In affect until 9:00PM Sunday!

This will be in affect until 7:00PM Sunday evening!

Elevated fire danger for the foreseeable future! Please use caution while outdoors!

In addition to gusty winds today, elevated to near critical fire weather conditions will be possible this afternoon, especially in parts of western OK and western north TX.

Please be aware: Even though we received some rain we will still have increased fire danger today!

Today we hosted Vehicle Extrication Training at the Fire Department.
