We are currently seeking a journeyman electrician for service work for our commercial and industrial customers. This individual will also manage small projects. Applicants must have a Texas Journeyman license and good driving record. A fully qualified journeyman hourly rate is currently $26.19. The pay can be higher based upon experience. Other benefits is an employer paid health insurance for family that includes dental and vision benefits, Pension and $3.20 per hour into an individual retirement account. Thanks to Carl Uline for bringing a 1956 Wichita Falls Phone book that had our great uncle’s business advertising on the cover. John Oechsner Electric was started in the early part of the 1900’s. Our grandfather was a foreman for him and our dad worked as a Journeyman electrician. Another cool thing about this phone book is they listed your occupation next to your name. They also listed the property address and who lived there for every address in Wichita Falls.
