Over 70 years of experience and service will be retiring at the end of this month. Plant Manager, Gary Stallcup and Assistant Plant Manager, Ricky Kasparek were celebrated this week for all their years of service to WFSH! We thank them and wish them well in their retirement!

As part of our community ministerial outreach, we served over 80 individuals with food insecurities. As part of this outreach, Ray Dixon spoke with several individuals who were interested in employment at WFSH. Informational business cards were given out with the QR codes. Resources were also offered to those who need help applying. Assistance to individuals will be held at Workforce Solutions for help with applications.

Thank you to all involved in this outreach program, for helping our community in so many ways! This is such heartfelt, meaningful work. 🩷

Hemingway Unit celebrated a few birthdays at their summer BBQ!

Some of our staff traveled to San Antonio to attend the Labatt Food show. After attending this event, the group traveled to San Antonio State Hospital to tour their kitchen and café areas and find out what works best for their facility that could be incorporated into Wichita Falls State Hospital. 💚

The VSC’s Bargain Boutique offered a little “retail therapy” to WFSH staff Hope,Tandy, Sara and Lara today!

Browning Unit’s 3-11 shift held a potluck to celebrate Walter Bujack moving to the 7-3 shift, and Jazmyne Jones going to the Schumann Unit! 🎉
