Most burglars are not Harry Houdini; the vast majority of break-ins involve a lock being forced instead of picked. A locksmith can ensure that not only is your lock itself secure, but that it’s been properly installed and strengthened to prevent the door from being forced open.
Unfortunately, the summer sun can make it unbearably hot inside a vehicle in a relatively short period. If your child is locked inside the car and can’t unlock the doors for you, calling a locksmith right away is the best way to avoid your child becoming ill from the heat.
While legal requirements vary from state to state, many locksmiths belong to professional associations that issue them identification and provide opportunities for continuing education.
