Saying goodbye and closing the Barn was devastated for us. The hardest part was closing the food pantry. After a very long and hard 18months we are excited to announce the new home of the Joel E Perlmutter Memorial Food!

Attention Seniors!!!!

It's with great sadness we have to announce our closing. After 4 years of incredibly hard work, and hundreds of thousands of dollars in repairs, rent and a lengthy, expensive legal battle to get the building to code and open, it has proven to be too much for a nonprofit to handle. The constant fight has taken a devastating effect on all of us.Our mission was in danger of not being able to fill the need in the area and that was,is,and will always be our primary goal. We want to thank our customers, donors and supporters for their loyalty and generosity, especially Mayor Arace ,Manchester Township Council, and Ocean County Commissioners for all of their help and support . We are down but not out!!! We will be relocating to a new spot in town that will enable us to offer even more services for seniors, veterans and our military, with of course a full food pantry,with less stress and a very supportive, landlord!! Stay tuned for more information and look out for our Grand Opening!!!
