The Whiteville Police Department has seen an increase in motor vehicle thefts. The thefts are a results of vehicles left unattended while the engine running. Vehicles were recovered by our officers and other law enforcement officers across the area. Please secure your vehicle by shutting off your engine and locking your doors.
