Engine Ninety Nine

Today, as thousands gather in San Francisco to honor his life and celebrate his liberation, we join the larger Dead family in sharing our deep gratitude for Bob Weir.
For the weird turns, the long jams, and the road that never really ends. For songs that taught us to listen to one another and let the moment lead the way. For a lifetime spent carrying the flame and inviting all of us into the circle.
As a Grateful Dead cover band, everything we’ve done—from jamming in the shop to private parties to local bar gigs—comes from what Bobby helped create. But more than that, it’s something we all share. Every gig has been our small contribution to keeping that spirit alive, saying thank you together—for the freedom, the community, and the music that keeps finding new life.

Thanks to all who joined us at the Northern Lights Saloon yesterday! And a special thanks to the Saloon for having us back for our seventh Independence Day celebration.

Next stop will be at the Montana Tap House on Thursday, July 14th. Here's a great way to stretch out those muscles in preparation for the weekend long dancing, swaying, and/or head-bobbing that you'll be doing at the Under the Big Sky music festival in Whitefish starting the next day. See ya there!

Dust off those tie dye's. Great Northern Bar in Whitefish is hosting the 2021 Shakedown! Two nights of some good 'ol Grateful Dead and JGB tunes. Our friends from Helena, 710 Ashbury will be kicking things off on Thursday, July 8th, followed by Engine 99 on Friday, July 9th.
