The International Freeskiers Association (IFSA) was established in 1996 by freeskiing pioneer Shane McConkey. Freeskiing in the 1990s was described as different specifications of the alpine ski sport such as off-piste skiing, slopestyle, half-pipe, big air, and skiercross. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to athlete development, events, education, and community in freeride skiing, we’re seeking an exceptional Executive Director to shape our future.
This is a rare opportunity for someone who lives at the intersection of sport, leadership, and impact. You’ll work closely with athletes, coaches, staff, partners, and the broader mountain community to strengthen our programs and elevate freeride at every level.
