DAY 31: HELL SHRINER

I don’t know much about Shriners. I don’t know why they drive their lil cars but .moon.ghoul got into a fender bender last week, it seemed totally fitting for the last prompt. My drawing looks a lil beat up, but I’m feeling those feels. Imagine .moon.ghoul is also feeling beat up. Glad he and his buddies are OK!

THX Craig for sharing everybody’s art and putting your all into it. I don’t think I’ve ever completed a month long drawing challenge! It’s been a bit of a mind fk, but I pushed through and discovered some s**t about myself and my drawing. I also discovered and followed some other bad ass artists. Also, you should like and follow other artists. Ai is coming for us all so let’s keep it real. We need to know you still value us.

Day 30: COSTUME KID

Halloween has always been my fav. Crispy creepy autumnal kid holiday with candy and costumes. I mean…??

My mom made all of our costumes, including my brothers. Being a kindergarten teacher, she was super crafty and resourceful. We would all go to our local fabric shop and get to pick out the patterns and fabrics. I liked the fuzzy wuzzy s**t tons.

Then she would sew our kid visions together and make them come to life.

Swipe to check out the inspiration for today’s prompt. It was the Halloween season of the pink bunny. I was super into animals and drew this character a lot. It’s funny it was all pink. I did not grow up in the pink era, and didn’t care for that much. I had older brothers and I wanted whatever they thought was cool. Maybe that’s why I looked super weird in the close up, like wtf am I doing in pink.

Maybe I had the Donnie Darko in me. I just didn’t know if…then. Muwahhhahahhaha…

Day28: PLASMA SUCKER

There’s a few types of plasma, went with the bodily fluid type. I was still hyped on the Yokai folklore (check yesterday’s prompt) so I took a cue from that.

Day27: YOKAI

Went down the rabbit hole learning about Yokai, which are a class of supernatural beings from Japanese folklore that include spirits, demons, monsters, and other phenomena. They can be terrifying, mischievous, or even benevolent, and range from shapeshifters to sentient objects that have gained a spirit.

I went with the stinky dude. Swipe to check out description and character. Basically he’s a lumpy piece of flesh that terrorizes people with his BO. Haha.

Day 25: HAUNTED TREE

For HOOm the bell tolls….

Sometimes the ideas run into each other and build from there. Since I was a day behind with Bolt Boy, I busted it out quickly this morning, with not much thought. Put some Metallica/ Ride the Lighting in there cuz that made sense. Today’s prompt was gonna be a bad ass scary tree with ghosts coming out off it. That idea got chopped (har har).

Haunted tree started out as an unhappy stump, then angry stump bloodthirsty stump, then a deranged logger type stump. Was gonna include ghosts in there telling it to kill. Which then led me to thinking about symbiotic relationships in nature (google that s**t if you dunno what I’m talking about). Swipe for those progressions.

Anyway…logging isn’t bad. People that do the jobs aren’t bad. If we didn’t log there’d be hella more fires and we wouldn’t have necessary timber things. It’s the s**t system of corporate unsustainability and profiting the f*k off it. This wasn’t supposed to turn into a rant so let me step off my stump.

Angry ghost owl says different. Her home got chopped down while she was in it. She’s out for revenge and she will kill ‘em all….

Sometimes it’s confusing when to know when to stop or keep pushing. The criticism is loud in my head. I can’t stand the s**t I’ve been putting out. I feel uncomfortable. There’s also a little feel says it’s ok, be curious, keep goin.
