We had an adoption today! These siblings never made it to the adoption event circuit because they were preadopted. Their new family sent us an application via email, we approved it and then they were able to meet kittens in their foster homes. They chose their pair and put down a deposit and preadopted. They visited a few more times while the kittens grew. The kittens were fixed on Tuesday and went home today as officially adopted! Queen B on the left, a long haired tabby. Her brother, Carter on the right, a DSH tabby.

With this year's kitten season beginning so early, we are finding ourselves still caring for the early arrivals while the second group of kitten births is also happening. We are in great need of experienced fosters willing and able to work with very young kittens who are often medically fragile in the Northwest suburban area. We provide all supplies and vet support. If you think you could be a good tiny kitten mom or dad, please go to our website Feralfelineproject.org and fill out our online volunteer application.
Feral Feline Project FFP helps to control the feral cat population by providing TNR to our local communities. We also have a small foster home program for adoptable kittens.

In remembrance of our dear friend and fellow cat advocate and rescuer, Sylvia. We remember her patience when things got tough. We remember her love for everything cat (and, of course pink flamingos!). We remember her for her hard work with both our foster and TNR programs. We still hear many community cat caretakers who say, “Sylvia was the one who helped me trap”, and cat owners who say, “Sylvia was the foster mom of the kittens we adopted”. And, in the eyes of an animal lover, there is no greater legacy than that. We miss you, Sylvia, and we will continue to keep that legacy alive. Because as she said…THERE’S ALWAYS MORE WORK TO DO.

If you stopped by our adoption event on Saturday at PetSmart, and wondered where our Foster Coordinator Phyllis was, she was helping these two.
Forrest Grump recently broke his leg and is now recovering in a cast. He's healing well and keeping Phyllis on her toes. Apparently, a cast is just a fashion accessory as far as he's concerned.
Carter (part of our Beyoncé litter) is receiving treatment and ongoing care for an eye condition that requires additional veterinary attention.
The medical care for Forrest and Carter is expected to exceed $1,500. If you'd like to help us continue the care they need, please consider making a donation at:
https://feralfelineproject.org/
A huge thank you to Arlington Cat Clinic for fitting in Forrest in on a very short notice and thank you to everyone who supports Feral Feline Project and the kittens in our care!
