The Local 549 Apprenticeship program is a well-organized and supervised method of training people to become qualified journeymen Iron Workers.
Ironworkers are craftsmen who erect, assemble or install fabricated structural metal products, usually large metal beams, in the er****on of industrial, commercial or large residential buildings

1st year Apprentices "Reinforcing Class"
We will be giving an OSHA30 hr class starting Monday, October 10 2016-October 14th. We will also be giving Forklift training on Friday, October 15th.

The class of "2016" put their touch on the training center by building a new Stainless steel flag pole for the top of the column and a little something to dress things up! There is a lot of pride and craftsmanship in both! Awesome job!!!
