The Augusta Levy Behavioral Services team had a fantastic time attending the Career Fair at Belmont College last week! We enjoyed connecting with attendees and sharing information about exciting career opportunities. In Skills-Based Treatment (SBT), we teach the phrase “My Way” as a powerful, all-in-one communication tool. Instead of problem behaviors, the child can use “My Way” to:
✅ Ask for what they want
✅ Request a break
✅ Avoid or delay a demand
This simple phrase helps transform moments of frustration into opportunities for success—guiding the child back to a state of happiness, relaxation, and engagement.

Their mission is to empower individuals of all ages through evidence-based behavioral and social services, helping people grow, connect, and thrive. Through partnerships with families, caregivers, and community organizations, they provide individualized support that strengthens communication, independence, social skills, and real-world readiness. We were honored to stop by and recognize a team making such a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

About: ALLC is hiring entry and mid-level team members. High school diploma required. We provide training to help team members become Registered Behavior Technicians (A nationally recognized certification!!!)
Full-time and Part-time positions available
Schedule: 7:45 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. Monday- Friday. Holidays off and scheduled breaks within the school year.
Benefits: We offer health, dental, vision to full time employees. PTO, 401k, paid breaks

Last week, our Director of Community Services, Emily Doyle, attended the National APSE Conference! This event brings together people from all over the country who are working to support Employment First—from individuals with disabilities and their families to service providers, universities, and state and federal partners.
Emily had a great time connecting with others and learning new ideas and best practices. She’s excited to bring everything she learned back to Wheeling and put it into action as we continue to grow and strengthen our adult and vocational services in the community.
