Sport has always been more than play—it’s preparation for life.

On International Olympic Day, the world celebrates movement, unity, and the values that build strong communities: discipline, respect, and excellence.

At Teach Haiti, we see those same values every day. Soccer is already part of our students’ world, and education gives it structure, purpose, and a pathway for growth. In PE, the game becomes a space where students learn teamwork, leadership, discipline, and perseverance.

In Haiti, soccer is more than sport—it is culture, identity, and hope. And right now, that hope is on the world stage as Haiti competes in the 2026 FIFA World Cup journey, carrying the pride of a nation that has long loved the game.

Every match is more than a game—it’s history in motion, and a reminder of what discipline, preparation, and belief can build.

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW BOYS!

In the small town of Saint-Michel-de-l’Attalaye, Miquette grew up in a tiny mud-and-stick home with no electricity, no running water, and often not enough food to eat.

As a little girl, she watched her mother carry charcoal and vegetables for miles just to provide for the family, making impossible sacrifices so her children could have what she never did: an education.

Poverty surrounded them. Hunger was constant. Opportunities were rare.

To hear Miquette’s full journey — from poverty in St. Michel to founding Teach Haiti — purchase her book, The Voice Poverty Cannot Silence.

And if you want to be part of this story still being written, consider sponsoring a student from our first-ever graduating class in St. Michel. Your support helps raise the next generation of leaders who will shape Haiti’s future.

In Haiti, a father who can send his child to school is changing his family’s entire story.

Today, we honor the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who carry that responsibility with strength and sacrifice—often making daily choices so their children can stay in school and keep learning.

At Teach Haiti, we see how powerful that sacrifice is. When a child is supported at home by someone who refuses to let education slip away, it can shift the trajectory of an entire generation.

Happy Father’s Day 💙

She waited seven years to wear her first school uniform.

In Haiti, that delay is often the difference between starting school on time—and missing years of learning because of tuition, books, and uniform costs that families simply cannot afford.

Miquette’s story reflects what so many children in St. Michel face every day, but it also shows what becomes possible when access is opened. For just $45 a month, a child can start school on time, stay in school, and step into a future they once had to wait for.

This is the power of the uniform. This is why sponsorship matters. This is how the reGeneration begins.

Students across Haiti have officially begun exam season, one of the most important academic moments of the year.

For thousands of students, especially those taking the 9th grade national exams and the Philo exam, this is a defining milestone. These national exams are taken by all students across the country and determine whether they advance into secondary school or graduate.

Behind each paper is months of preparation. Early mornings, long study hours, and quiet determination—all leading up to this moment.

At Teach Haiti, we are asking you to join us in prayer:
🙏 Pray for peace over every student’s mind
🙏 Pray for clarity and confidence during exams
🙏 Pray for health, focus, and endurance
🙏 Pray that what they’ve learned comes back to them clearly
🙏 Pray for hope as they take this important step forward

These exams are more than academic—they represent dreams, perseverance, and the future of a generation.

Meet Naïma, her favorite subject is French! She is one of the students we are trying to find a sponsor for so she can stay at Teach Haiti and be one of the school's first graduating class in 2032.

We are blown away! 🎉

Our Golf Scramble raised nearly $10,000 in a single day of golf! The generosity and support from everyone who participated means the world to us. Every swing, every putt, and every dollar made a difference for our two campuses in Haiti. Thank you for helping us make this event one for the books! ⛳

This class is stepping into something that has never existed in St. Michel before: the possibility of becoming the first graduating class at Teach Haiti.

These are children from the “other Haiti” — the quiet, often forgotten place outside of the capital where education doesn’t come easy, and where every year of school is something a child has to fight to keep.

They are now entering 8th grade, continuing forward one year at a time into a future that has never been fully written in this community. A future that could mark the beginning of something new for generations after them.

But that future is fragile.

Many of these students cannot continue without sponsorship.

For $45 a month, you can help a child in St. Michel stay in school, receive daily meals, and continue the journey toward becoming part of this historic first graduating class.

This is not just school support.

This is the quiet beginning of a legacy — a generation rising in St. Michel that will finish what has never been finished before.
