We can't imagine what this mother must feel like; leaving her home behind to be carried out of flood waters, losing everything she needs to care for her little one....so we are going to help!

We are collecting new and your gently used baby items from THIS WEDNESDAY, 8/30 THROUGH FRIDAY, 9/1 at NOON. Store hours are 10-5 pm daily, but donations can also be left in bags inside the stair wells to "The Loft" which will be left open during this time. The entrance to "The Loft" faces towards the parking lot, just East of our store along the side of the barber shop.

We are collaborating with a local church that will be driving these items to the Houston area on Friday afternoon. They are taking boats/rafts to help continue to rescue people from flooding and will distribute your donations directly to those in need.

The most needed items are clothing for infants and toddlers, diapers, diaper wipes, formula, bottles, and blankets.

We thank you so much for supporting this cause and helping to make things a little better for the parents who are impacted by this catastrophic flooding.

Doctors Once Thought Bananas Cured Celiac Disease. They Saved Kids' Lives — At A Cost In the early 20th century, kids with the disease faced severe malnutrition, even death. The banana-based diet doctors came up with seemed to cure them — but led kids back to foods that made them sick.
