Elite One Properties provides the community with improved housing & stylish living through buying, rehabbing, selling or leasing homes throughout the Chicagoland area. Owner Alex Acosta has been working in the construction industry and related businesses for over 21 years. He started his first 3 years as a roofer working with asphalt, cedar, slate, Spanish tile and copper bay windows. He followed thereafter working with his oldest brother who owned his own construction company. There he learned a lot about the business and carpentry trade rough framing for big residential homes in Burr Ridge, Hinsdale, Oak Brook, Naperville and Barrington. In the summer of 2004, tragically his oldest bother passed away in a skydiving accident. No longer employed, he had no choice but to start his own construction business in the autumn season of that same year. He picked up small/medium contract projects from general contractors, builders and homeowners. This later developed to large contracts for residential and commercial work in 2007. Alex built his first home and restaurant in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He followed with other restaurants in Lombard and Highwood. His most recent customized project is an apartment for Chef Tony Castillo, which is used for wine tastings and private events. He built a big island, custom cabinets and a beautiful kitchen hood.
