The Washington Professional Systems team recently visited d&b audiotechnik USA for a hands-on product workshop — and it was time well spent.

We got to dig into two standout tools: Array Calc — room modeling software that lets you import a drawing, place speaker arrays, and generate a color-coded coverage heat map. No guesswork, just clarity before a single cable is run.

At Cactus Club Cafe Miami, the WPS team delivered an integrated AV system designed to support a high-energy hospitality environment while maintaining a clean, unobtrusive aesthetic. ✨

The project featured a strong d&b audiotechnik foundation, including 44S ultra-compact loudspeakers, 12S-SUB installation subwoofers, and 5D Dante amplifiers, paired with QSC Q-SYS Core 8 Flex processing and amplification for flexible system control and networked audio management. 🎶

To support video distribution and presentation throughout the space, the system also incorporatedWyreStorm Technologies NetworkHD AV-over-IP, LG commercial displays, projection, Da-Lite projection screens, and Shure SLX-D wireless.

The result is a coordinated audio, video, and control ecosystem built to deliver performance, flexibility, and reliability in a visually refined venue. 🥂

Proud to partner with Planar on the Commons Visualization Lab at Princeton Research Computing. WPS engineered and integrated this immersive LED visualization environment to support research, presentations, and collaboration.

The centerpiece of the lab is a 20 × 8 Planar DirectLight Ultra Series LED video wall measuring nearly 40 feet wide by 9 feet high, featuring an ultra-fine 0.6mm pixel pitch and a faceted curved design.

For the new Cactus Club Cafe in Miami, we implemented a d&b audiotechnik xS-Series solution designed to balance sonic performance with the visual demands of the space. With 44S loudspeakers, 12S-SUB low-frequency support, and 5D Dante amplification, the system delivers clear, controlled, high-impact audio while maintaining a compact and discreet presence. At the heart of the space is a nearly 40-foot-wide curved LED video wall built with Planar DirectLight Ultra Series technology, delivering 19,200 x 4,320 resolution across a continuous canvas.

WPS engineered and integrated the system to support large-scale data visualization, hybrid collaboration, and cross-disciplinary research.
