Laundry rooms come with a variety of organizational challenges. If you have a “problem” - I would like to challenge you to go thru this series with me to change your laundry room from a place to endure…to enjoy! ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
STEP 1: PURGE! ​​​​​​​​
Get rid of anything that is not being used. That may seem simple, but this is surprisingly one of the steps where we fail the most. Ask yourself these questions about each item in your laundry: ​​​​​​​​
1. First, toss all old, empty, outdated laundry bottles. You haven’t used them yet! You probably never will. ​​​​​​​​
2. If you are still unsure, ask yourself, “When is the last time I’ve used this”? (6 month - 1 year or more? Donate or toss)​​​​​​​​
2. Next, should this item live somewhere else? ​​​​​​​​
3. How many multiples do I want to keep (or store here)? Pro tip: keep your multiples in check - 2 at the most of huge laundry supplies. ​​​​​​​​
GREAT JOB! You’ve successfully purged your laundry room!

Do you know that you don’t have to have a junk drawer overflowing with old pens, receipts, unread mail? Every space in your kitchen is valuable real estate, so if you are using a drawer in the kitchen for the necessities - make sure that’s what’s there.
Here are items that should be in your “junk drawer”:
5-10 working pens/pencils, pad of post-it notes, stamps, thank you notes, envelopes, stapler, band-aids, small hammer, checkbook, twist-ties, etc.

I am in luuuvvvv with these Restorer Wipes. I am not being paid to recommend, btw! My husband made fun of me for even trying them, but I love this brand’s products so I thought I would try. Our goal was to purge items that the children had grown out of, sort & then contain what was left. But, our most important piece of this puzzle was labeling each and every bin - nothing makes a space more functional than labeling. Labeling is, in essence, a set of instructions for the entire family. Now everyone can find & put away the items they are looking for!

I love these produce keepers so much! 😍 They are great for washing your veg and then storing them, all in one go. I am in for it! You can store items that need to stay dry (like the berries) or covered in water (like the carrots) Seal the containers or leave them open. They even include a packet that absorbs moisture in the top of each lid. check out the video in kitchen 👆🏼

This is gorgeous. 😍 The soft gray cabinets & gold hardware make you feel like a princess. But, when you opened the cabinets, it was more like Cinderella. 😢 So we refreshed & re-organized with beautiful containers from so the organized insides feel in step with the beautiful outside.
