What if the life you're longing for isn't somewhere else?
What if it's found in the moments you've been rushing past?
In a world that celebrates doing more, achieving more, and moving faster, it's easy to believe we always need to be chasing the next thing.
But sometimes, the most meaningful growth happens when we slow down.
When we pause long enough to notice the blessings we've been given, the people around us, and the quiet moments that bring peace.
Slowing down isn't falling behind. It's creating space for your mind, body, and nervous system to breathe.
Today, give yourself permission to be fully present.
You might just discover that your life is already more beautiful than you realized. 🌿🤍

Your nervous system is one of the most overlooked parts of your health, yet it plays a role in nearly everything your body does.
It helps coordinate how you move, sleep, digest, recover, respond to stress, and so much more. That's why when your nervous system is under constant stress, you may notice symptoms that seem unrelated—like feeling tired, overwhelmed, tense, or like your body just isn't functioning the way it used to.
The goal isn't to chase symptoms. The goal is to support the system that helps everything else work together.
At Rooted Family Chiropractic, we believe your body was designed to heal, adapt, and thrive. When your nervous system is well-supported, your body is better equipped to respond to the physical, chemical, and emotional stresses of everyday life.
That support can look like:
🌿 Prioritizing quality sleep
🌿 Moving your body regularly
🌿 Nourishing yourself with whole foods
🌿 Creating moments of rest throughout the day
🌿 Supporting your nervous system with chiropractic care
Small, consistent habits can make a meaningful difference over time.
Your body is always working for you. Sometimes it simply needs the right support to do what it was designed to do. 🤍

One thing a lot of people don't know about me...
I have a dropped hip (leg length difference).
It means my body naturally compensates, so I wear a heel lift to help create better balance through my pelvis and reduce unnecessary stress on my spine over time.
Does it make my body perfect? Nope.
It simply gives my body the support it needs.
Because of that, I also have to be intentional about stretching, staying strong, getting adjusted regularly, and checking in with how my body is feeling.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that everyone has something. No one has a perfectly balanced body. The goal isn't perfection—it's understanding your body well enough to support it for the long haul.
I don't take care of my body because it's broken.
I take care of it because I want to keep doing the things I love for years to come.
What is one thing you've learned about your own body that has changed the way you care for it? I'd love to hear in the comments.

Your hormones are always communicating with you.
They don't suddenly change overnight. More often, they respond to the small, consistent patterns of everyday life—how well you're sleeping, how you're managing stress, how you're nourishing your body, how much you're moving, and how supported your nervous system feels.
Sometimes those messages are subtle.
Feeling more tired than usual.
Mood changes.
Difficulty sleeping.
Low energy.
Feeling like something just feels "off."
These symptoms don't always mean something is seriously wrong, but they can be an invitation to slow down and pay attention to what your body is trying to tell you.
At Rooted Family Chiropractic, we believe hormone health isn't just about one system in the body. It's connected to your overall well-being. Supporting your nervous system, prioritizing quality sleep, managing stress, eating nourishing foods, and moving your body consistently all help create a strong foundation for your health.
You don't have to wait until symptoms become overwhelming before caring for yourself.
Small, intentional choices today can help support how you feel tomorrow. 🌿
Have you ever noticed your body giving you subtle signs that it needed more support? We'd love to hear what you've learned by listening to your body.
Headaches can be frustrating, especially when they become part of your "normal."
While dehydration is often the first thing people think of, it's only one piece of the picture. Headaches can have many contributing factors, including muscle tension, posture, jaw clenching, stress, sleep quality, and how your nervous system is responding to the demands of everyday life.
That's why it's so important to listen to what your body is communicating instead of simply pushing through the discomfort.
A simple pause during the day to check in with your body can make a difference. Notice your breathing. Relax your shoulders. Unclench your jaw. These small moments of awareness can help interrupt the tension that builds throughout the day.
And if headaches continue to be a regular part of your life, it may be time to look beyond the symptoms and explore what's contributing to them.
Your body isn't trying to make your life harder. It's trying to get your attention. 🤍

As life begins to get busier, many of us wait until we're already feeling overwhelmed before we start taking care of ourselves.
But what if we approached our nervous system differently?
Instead of reacting to stress, we can prepare for it.
I've been reminding myself that supporting my nervous system doesn't require a complete lifestyle overhaul. It's often the small, consistent habits that help me feel calmer, more present, and better equipped to navigate busy seasons.
Planning my week before it starts. Leaving space in my schedule. Protecting my sleep. Stepping outside for a few minutes. Taking a walk between patients. These simple rhythms help my body feel supported before stress begins to pile up.
One of the biggest misconceptions about wellness is that we have to wait until something feels wrong before making a change. But our nervous systems thrive when we care for them proactively, not just when we're exhausted.
As we head into a new season, ask yourself:
What's one small habit I can start today that my future self will thank me for?
Remember, preparation isn't about being perfectly organized. It's about creating rhythms that help you move through life's transitions with more peace, resilience, and presence.
🌿 Small habits. Big impact.
What's one way you're preparing for the season ahead? Share it in the comments!

Hi 🤍 I’m Dr. Amy — and I’m so glad you’re here!
I’m a wife, a mama to two incredible kiddos, and the heart behind Rooted Family Chiropractic. Family is everything to me, and it’s the reason this practice exists. I built RFC out of my own desire to be the best mom I could be while still answering a calling that felt bigger than me.
Outside the office, you’ll usually find us chasing adventure — traveling, hiking, exploring, and soaking up time together. I’ve always loved movement and being active! I played volleyball in college, and those years shaped my appreciation for what the body is capable of when it’s supported, cared for, and aligned.
That season of life also led me to pursue chiropractic — and graduating was a defining moment for me. It wasn’t just a degree or a milestone… it was the beginning of a vision I carried in my heart to care for families in a more gentle, connected, and intentional way.
Chiropractic wasn’t just a career choice for me — it was a calling. When I graduated, I knew I wanted to create something different. A space that felt safe. Gentle. Grounded. A place where women, babies, and families felt truly seen and supported, not rushed or overwhelmed.
That vision led me to open Rooted Family Chiropractic in Wheat Ridge, Colorado — a practice rooted in faith, connection, and deep respect for the nervous system. I get to care for women through every season of life, support growing families, and help little bodies feel safe and regulated as they develop.
This work is personal. It’s woven into my family, my faith, and my belief that our bodies were fearfully and wonderfully made to thrive.
If you’re here, I believe it’s for a reason 🤍
Welcome to Rooted Family Chiropractic — I’m so honored you found us!

Feeling safe and informed matters at every age.
When each step is explained, questions are welcomed, and consent is part of the conversation, care can feel more comfortable and supportive — giving the nervous system space to settle.
We’re so grateful to be trusted with your daughter’s care and honored to create an experience rooted in kindness, communication, and respect. 💛
Some seasons feel heavier than others.
Maybe life feels uncertain.
Maybe you're tired.
Maybe things are moving slower than you hoped.
Maybe you're wondering if you're falling behind.
But growth doesn't always happen where everyone can see it.
Sometimes, the quiet seasons are where your roots grow the deepest. 🌿
Trust that your journey doesn't have to look like anyone else's. Every step, every pause, and every season is shaping you into who you're becoming.
Keep showing up. Keep taking the next small step. And remember—you don't have to have it all figured out today.
Trust the timing of your life. The best is still unfolding. 🤍
