Volunteers brave the frontlines of the Aspen Acres fire | Rocky Mountain PBS Volunteers spent last week digging more than 15 miles of fire line near communities threatened by the Aspen Acres fire.

Our phone lines are getting clogged with people calling in to offer assistance, which we appreciate, but we’re now missing calls from folks who need the help. WE NEED HELP!!
If you have a skid or mini-ex and are willing to help create fire breaks on the Aspen Acres fire in Pueblo, PLEASE CONTACT US. We have dozens of requests for help and digging fire break but cannot fill them all. We need more volunteers, and fast. We have all of our available machines and operators dedicated, but it’s not enough. Thanks!

Slash Removal. Anyone who’s ever done any work in Colorado knows about slash and the joys of disposing of it. Here The Boyz delivered a skid to a tree contractor doing a large contract job for Jefferson County cleaning up large amounts of slash in Golden. This project is estimated to go on for approximately 3 months during which we have field service, maintenance, and more planned for the customer. Whatever it takes to get the job, done. When the pavement ends, the real work begins. Here your favorite rental team is delivering 10,000lbs of iron, power, and grit in the form of a CAT 304 Compact Excavator. The team using this machine is building a retaining wall on a remote piece of property in Evergreen. Steep terrain, switchbacks, rocks, and unmaintained roads meant tracking in the machine over a mile from the last point of vehicle access. But, as always, not a problem for The Boyz!
