Understanding comprehensive classroom safety is one way to help students feel regulated and in a safe space to learn.

You’ve likely heard of physical safety and even emotional safety, but when we talk about safety from a trauma-informed lens, we include aspects like academic safety, where students feel safe to make mistakes and take risks, and identity safety, where students feel safe to show up as their authentic selves.

As educators, understanding the trauma-informed elements of classroom safety helps us better support our students, especially during times when elements of safety are threatened.

We have the ability to make our schools safe spaces, but remember, it’s not about taking on all the pressure as an educator alone.

We are here to support you. Through trauma-informed training and support, we assist school communities in building comprehensive safety, by equipping educators with an understanding of trauma, trauma-related behaviors, cultural humility, and resilience-building skills.

Think about this for a moment. Those that think or believe it's necessary to cut off foreign aid from the US. The money that goes to other countries. It benefits the U.S. and other countries in a plethora of different ways. From a Medical perspective it keeps certain diseases and infections from coming into the U.S. and taking over certain countries.. ex: Ebola, Bird Flu, Polio. You think the price of eggs are high now. Think about when egg supplies are gone.. Because we can't get them. They are starting kill chickens to stop the spread of these diseases.
I'm not just saying these things for fashion. Do you own research. Be safe and Well.
