Wheat Ridge Chamber of Commerce

Some awards mean a little more. 💙

At last week’s Business Awards Breakfast, we honored Dominick Breton as our Trailblazer of the Year.

Dominick believed deeply in Wheat Ridge, in its businesses, and most of all, in its people. He had a way of bringing people together, making connections, opening doors, and always looking for what could be possible next.

Having his parents there to accept the award on his behalf made this moment especially meaningful.

Dominick left a mark on this Chamber and on the Wheat Ridge community that won’t soon be forgotten. We miss him, we’re grateful for him, and we’re incredibly proud to honor his legacy as our 2026 Trailblazer of the Year.

This one’s for you, Dominick. 💙

Our Chamber community is growing! 👋

Last week, we got to celebrate some pretty incredible people in our Wheat Ridge business community. And these three are so deserving. 👏

✨ Small Business of the Year: Renee Schreiner | Mary Kay Cosmetics

✨ Large Business of the Year: Alicia Marsicovetere | Renew Massage Studios

✨ Trailblazer of the Year: Dominick Breton

Renee and Alicia, congratulations! Thank you for the energy, care and commitment you bring to your businesses and to Wheat Ridge. We’re lucky to have you as part of this community.

And Dominick… his award deserves a post all its own. 💙 More on that one soon.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Business Awards Breakfast and helped us celebrate this year’s honorees. We loved getting to spend the morning with you.

Come be part of the conversation.

Business happens through relationships, and relationships start by showing up.

Last month, our Chamber Board came together for a strategic session focused on the future—sharing ideas, setting priorities, and continuing to build on the work we’re doing to support our members and community.

We’re grateful for this group and the time, perspective, and leadership they bring to our Chamber and the community we serve.

P.S. Getting the whole crew together for a photo is harder than it looks! Alicia, we missed you in this one! 😊
