Wear your orange and purple and walk, bike, or scooter alongside our school community. Little ones and caregivers are welcome to ride on our decorated trailer, too. Let's celebrate the Wheat Ridge community and kick off the school year together.

Friendly reminder that many of your kids know how to knit.

Toss some yarn and needles in a basket and help facilitate self-inspired knitting opportunities this summer. On road trips, hammocks or lazy mornings on the couch. Let their minds wander while their focus stays on creation.

Childhood is not something to rush through. Children need time and space to unfold in their own time and in their own way.

Summer is a beautiful reminder of this. Slow down. Wander. Read books.
